Norwegian Air made an announcement on Tuesday sharing the move toward cheaper fares for travelers heading to Europe.
Any day with an insane airfare deal is a good day. Norwegian Air has made an announcement that has us prematurely planning our future trips to Europe. The news: Come 2017, the airline will be offering $69 flights from the United States to Europe. No, you did not read that wrong and it is most certainly not a typo. Granted, these are one-way flights only traveling from the States to Europe, but there are plenty of deals to be had on a flight back home that still make this an incredible bargain.
The flights will be offered from low-fare airports—the airline is reportedly considering Westchester County Airport in New York and Bradley International Airport in Connecticut. As for countries in Europe, Norwegian has mentioned Edinburgh, Scotland and Bergen, Norway as potential destinations.
